Rapunzel gives off the general image and idea of a gentle beauty. It is not quite striking, nor is it absolutely gorgeous, but her beauty certainly has some uniqueness to it. There is a clear amount of her innocence and youth able to be detected just from her physical appearance alone. She has a very soft, gente face, which always shows kindness and compassion. Her eyes are very large, and a gentle shade of green. They appear quite soft and inviting one moment, sort of longing for adventure and excitement. But the tables can turn quite quickly, and the fire in her eyes can become visible and burn quite rapidly should she become angered or something. Though this anger does not tend to last long, as reflected in Rapunzel's personality, so the eyes tend to just display that sense of sweetness, and almost purity as well.
The most unique feature about Rapunzel is without a doubt her hair. She does have about seventy feet of it, after all. Her hair is a golden blonde color, much like the light of the sun, or the flower which gave her the power. And he hair can be used in various ways, the most notable being as a healing aid, should she sing the proper song. But aside from her hair, she is a pretty small girl for the most part. Pretty slim, and not very tall either, though that's not to say she's super short or anything. She is fair skinned as well, which compliments her golden locks quite nicely. As far as wardrobe goes, Rapunzel is typically seen wearing alight lavendar gown with a few pink accents and details. She usually never wears shoes either, as their really is no need to wear shoes in the tower.

Rapunzel's presonality is certainly as bright and sunny as her long golden hair. Rapunzel is a fun-loving young girl, and she is always looking to try new things and just have fun! She absolutely hates being bored, which is why she took up so many hobbie while she was in her tower, and is always looking for something fun. Aside from this, she is also a very kind young girl, and after leaving her tower, she discovered just how much she enjoyed helping people, and looks to do it as much as she can. She is quite friendly as well, always looking to make a new friend or two. But her friendly trait is also accompanied with her naive trait. After being locked away in a tower for eighteen years, Rapunzel is naturally very naive, and she does not know quite as much about the outside world as she thinks she does. But, she is learning more and more everyday, and some of this naiveness is starting to fade away.
While being very nice and sweet, Rapunzel also has a rather feisty streak to her. She is a very headstrong young lady, and she is not afraid to fight for what she wants or what she believes in. Persistant until the very end, Rapunzel will not stop until she has reached her goal, and will suffer any consequences that come along with it. Because of her persistance, Rapunzel can be a bit stubborn sometimes, always wanting to try and get what she wants, sometimes unwilling to accept other options. Despite having such a headstrong side, it can often be pushed aside because of her fear. Rapunzel can sometimes be a bit afraid of outcomes and hearing 'no' for an answer, so she might just chicken out. This is why it took her so long to finally ask her mother to leave the tower. But once she gets over the initial fear, her persistance shines bright, and she pushes all of this fear aside, and follows her heart.

Rapunzel was the long-awaited daughter of the King and Queen of Corona. But during her mother's pregnancy, she fell ill and began to worry about the health of her baby. The guards desperately searched for a cure, and were able to discover a mysterious flower with some sort of magic in it. They took it and made a broth out of it, which was able to heal the Queen and assure a healthy birth for her child. She then gave birth to a healthy young girl, whom she decided to name Rapunzel. Though something interesting happened to Rapunzel. All of the magic that was in the flower her mother ingested, went into Rapunzel's hair, and it became a very unique golden color. The hair also had healing powers. There was a woman by the name of Gothel who had been using the flower's magic to maintain her youth. In a desperate attempt to keep her youth, she stole the baby Rapunzel, since she needed the magic that is now in her hair. She locked Rapunzel in a tower for eighteen years, raising the girl to believe that she was her true mother.
Just before turning eighteen, Rapunzel was beginning to grow bored and tired of life in tower. She tried to keep busy with various things such as crafts, ventriloquy, playing various games with pet chameleon Pascal, reading books, and of course, brushing all of that hair of hers! Rapunzel began to wonder about the outside world, and going to see it, especially the flying lanterns that happened every year on her birthday. She tried to ask her mother to let her go, but Gothel convinced her out of it. One day, when Gothel went out to get some supplies to make a soup, something interesting occured. Once her mother was gone, a twist of fate happened - a man came to her tower.
Infamous thief Flynn Rider was looking for a place to hide out, after he just stole the royal satchel. Rapunzel panicked when she saw this man, and whacked him with her frying pan and knocked him unconcious. Rapunzel hid Flynn in her wardrobe for the moment, and also discovered the satchel. She hid it, as she thought that it might be important for later. Once Mother Gothel returned, Rapunzel was eager to show her Flynn, in an attempt to prove that she could make it in the world on her own. Gothel just got annoyed by this, and found the pesters from Rapunzel to be an annoyance, though she knew that she simply couldn't let Rapunzel leave the tower. Rapunzel then got an idea. She finally asked Gothel for some special paint for her birthday, which would take three days alone to get. Gothel agreed to this, and bid Rapunzel farewell. Rapunzel then turned her attention back to the man in her wardrobe.
Rapunzel released Flynn from her wardrobe, then the two began to 'bargain', and Rapunzel used a very convincing tactic - her frying pan! Rapunzel and Flynn finally came to an agreement. Flynn agreed to take Rapunzel to see the lights, then escort her back, and Rapunzel would give him the satchel back. With this, the two of them left the tower, and headed out into the world. Rapunzel recieved her first taste of freedom, which caused her to have moodswings. Flynn then decided to try and trick Rapunzel, so he brought her to a pub by the name of the Snuggly Duckling. The pub seemed quaint and happy from the outside, and Rapunzel was very excited to go in and fit in. But once her and Flynn entered, Rapunzel became very scared and nervous. She was able to appeal to them, and asked if any of them ever had a dream like her, and she learned many interesting things about them.
The fun was cut short when the guards arrived, searching for Flynn Ryder. The regulars of the Snuggly Duckling kindly helped Rapunzel and Flynn to escape from the guards, but they were still chased by them, and managed to escape into a cave, but there was a huge downside - the cave started to flood, and Rapunzel and Fynn were trapped right in the middle of it all. Rapunzel and Flynn each shared a secret with the other, since they both thought this might have been the end. Flynn told Rapunzel that his true name was Eugene Fitzherbert. Rapunzel told Flynn that she had magic that glows when she sung. After she said this, Rapunzel realized that her hair could help them! She sung, and just like she said, her hair started to glow. The two were able to escape successfully, and then made camp together. There, they exchanged and learned more things about eachother. When Flynn left to go get firewood, Mother Gothel appeared and talked with Rapunzel. Rapunzel told her mother about how she thought that Flynn might have feelings for her. Mother Gothel replied by saying that Flynn was only using her to get the satchel, which Rapunzel refused to believe. Mother Gothel gave Rapunzel the satchel, and told her to put it to the test. Rapunzel still did not want to believe her mother's harsh words...
The next day, after being 'greeted' by the royal horse Maximus, the three arrived to the royal kingdom, and Rapunzel was in absolute awe. She had never seen a place so wonderful! The only problem was her hair. It was much too long, and people stepped all over it. Some of the young girls in the kingdom kindly braided Rapunzel's hair for her, which it nice and neat. After celebrating amongst the people for the day, Rapunzel was very eager to go and see the lanterns. Flynn took her in a boat out in the water, where she had the absolute best view of the lanterns. Rapunzel also gave Flynn the satchel back, and just as he was about to kiss her, Flynn noticed something and left Rapunzel for the moment. Rapunzel grew worried, and she began to search for Flynn, and came face to face with his former accomplices. They expressed interest in Rapunzel's hair, and seeked to sell it. Rapunzel grew afraid, and she ran away from them, and ran straight into her mother's arms, who was 'coincidently' close. Mother Gothel showed Rapunzel what appeared to be Flynn heading away on the boat with the satchel, and Rapunzel completely fell for it. She began to cry, and embraced her mother, and she told her that she was right about the world.
Mother Gothel brought Rapunzel back to the tower, and told Rapunzel that they would just act like this whole thing never happened. After her mother left the room, Rapunzel was left alone with just her thoughts. And then, she had a revelation. She realized that she was the Lost Princess. She went to go and confront her mother, angered and enraged that her 'mother' kept this a secret for so long. But before she could do anything further, Mother Gothel tied her up. Shortly after this, Flynn Ryder arrived and climbed the tower, only to be stabbed by Mother Gothel. Rapunzel begged Gothel to allow her to heal Flynn, and in return, she promised that she would go wherever Gothel wished without a fight. Gothel granted this request, and just as Rapunzel was about to heal Flynn, he cut off her long hair. After this, Mother Gothel's true age came back, and thanks to Pascal, she fell out the window of the tower, and died a horrible death. Rapunzel held Flynn in her arms, and he slowly died. Rapunzel began to cry, and she quietly sang the healing song. One of her tears fell on Flynn's cheek, and he was healed! Rapunzel learned that the magic was not in her hair, but it was in her the whole time!
Rapunzel and Flynn went back to the kingdom, where Rapunzel was reunited with her parents. The whole kingdom celebrated the return of the Lost Princess, and Rapunzel now lives happily with her parents and her Eugene.

ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE:
The sun poured into Rapunzel's bedroom. She felt one of her eyes flutter open, slowly adjusting. Morning already? She sat up, stretching her arms out. Time for another day. It was only a few more days until she was going to be eighteen years old, and she could hardly wait. Turning eighteen was such a big deal, and Rapunzel wondered if maybe her mother would ever start to see her as an adult. An adult who could go outside on her own. That was all she really wanted. Maybe she could try and ask Mother at lunch today! Yeah, that could work! Rapunzel happily convinced herself into the idea. "Well, nothing is going to get done if I stay here in bed!" Rapunzel said, pulling off the covers and heading out of bed, her seventy feet of hair following behind her. She quickly changed out of her night gown and into her simple purple dress.
Rapunzel quickly made her way down the stairs, seeing her little chameleon friend waiting for her at the window. "Morning, Pascal!" Rapunzel greeted happily, quickly grabbing the broom and started to sweep, putting in extra care today. She really wanted to impress Mother Gothel today. So maybe if she did he chores well, and made the tower look absolutely spotless, Mother Gothel would be more willing to accept her request. As she sweeped, she began to wonder just what the outside world was going to be like. All she knew was what she read in books, and what Mother Gothel told her whenever she asked. But her mother always seemed to regard the outside world as a horrible place, and would tell that to Rapunzel everytime she asked. Rapunzel was unsure whether or not she agreed with her mother. From what she read in her books, there seemed to be a lot of great things out there. Oceans, beaches with this thing called sand, forests with trees that touched the sky, and grass! Rapunzel always wondered how grass felt. It looks so...so soft. She really wished her feet could feel the soft ground of the Earth.
Due to her daydreaming, Rapunzel's sweeping actually seemed to make the tower even MORE messy. The pile that she started to make had been swept over, and the dust and dirt were spread out again. She gasped, quickly moving to try and fix this. Rapunzel tried to keep her mind off these little fantasies, focusing solely on the sweeping. In no time, the tower looked absolutely wonderful. She let out a sigh of exhaustion, heading over to the window, where she looked out so frequently. Rapunzel leaned against it, looking out into the world. It was such a beautiful day out there. She really wanted to go outside on a day like this, it was just so tempting! But the fear overtook her desire...she didn't want to know how Mother Gother would react to this. Well, maybe things would get better once she asked. Rapunzel let out a sigh, leaning against the window.
"One day. I'll be out there one day. I know I will be." Rapunzel spoke outloud to herself, before shutting her eyes gently, imagining this thought to herself. Maybe one day her dream would come true...she just had to keep on dreaming. Rapunzel knew never to give up on dreams, because you never knew just when they might come true. Her dream had been existing for as long as she could remember. It was certainly overdue to come true...she just hoped that someone out there was aware of just how long she had been waiting. Rapunzel couldn't wait much longer though! She was sick of this tower, she jst had to get out of here. Who knows what might happen to the world tomorrow! And she could very well miss it. Which is why she was going to ask her mother her plan today. Right after she got home. She was going to do it, she knew she was. No more waiting, time to take action!
